Bavarian discount ticket costs 38 euros from January 2025

From January 2025, the price of the Deutschlandticket will rise by 9 euros from 49 euros to 58 euros. This will also affect the Bavarian discount ticket for students and trainees. The ticket will continue to be discounted by a flat rate of 20 euros by the Free State of Bavaria. From January 2025, the price of the Bavarian discount ticket will therefore rise from 29 euros to 38 euros per month.

The subscription to the discount ticket with MVG will automatically continue at the new conditions from January 2025. A monthly cancellation is possible until the 10th of the respective month in the MVG customer portal.
